Coincidence?
jratlee:
I just found out that my father is taking classes to become an EMT.
He’s 58 years young and has been a successful executive his entire life.
I haven’t had a chance to talk to him about it yet, he’s at one of his classes right now.
we spoke about it. this will be a new, exciting and valuable experience for our entire family.

Wedding Anniversary
Every year all four of us kids would spend the night at Aunt Eva’s while Mama and Papa went out on an anniversary date. I don’t actually remember sleeping at Aunt Eva’s, so maybe they came home really late and picked us up. But it was fun. We always got a square pizza for dinner and Aunt Eva sat in her rocking chair while we played around her. This never changed for years,...

North Pole
I went through a few more boxes, but only found various report cards and test scores…rather boring. It was strongly suggested that I do not skip 2nd grade, Alex tended to copy other students’ work instead of listening to the teacher, and Betsy wrote in 4th grade that in 20 years she wanted to be an excellent accountant. My favorite thing from the perusal is John’s letter to...
