i’m running out of options
i’ve done all of my homework that is due on monday in an attempt to not write my french paper or do my french readings. it’s that bad. sometimes i really consider dropping french and just going with the sociology minor, but then i think a) it’s too late to drop without a ‘w’ and b) i’ve only got two more classes left. i can do it. i just have to remember never to take french history ever again. unless i fail, which means that i will have to. whatever.
i love fall! i love the leaves. not the poison ivy ones, but the nice ones on the back road. when i walk jaimie sometimes it’s hard to distinguish her from the leaves on the ground. we have a very orange dog. one that follows my every move inside but pays no attention to me outside because i obviously do not compare to a chipmunk.
my phone broke. kind of. whenever i would call someone, it would shut off and turn on again after like a minute, ending my call and forcing me to do five more one-minute calls in order to have a complete conversation. i think it’s because i dropped my phone too many times and the back panel has become loose enough to let the battery disconnect from the…circuit? the little metal prongs that transmit power. oh well. the phone has served me well. i’ve had it for about 4 years i think. i’ll probably stick with karilyn’s motorola until i really need to find a new one.
i’m going to go wrap betsy’s birthday present in a desperate attempt to not do french work. did you know that mla format only requires ONE space after a period? i’m not quite sure what rule dictates that i use two spaces, but one space seems weird. i like the two-space rule because it distinguishes an end of a sentence from an end of a word. besides, i don’t think my thumbs can be reprogrammed to only hit the space bar once after a period. i just tried, and no luck.
