fuckin’ bees.

after three days of trying to tear up our backyard in shorts and a t-shirt, i was finally bitten.  i pushed my luck, and some yellow jacket bit me right through my shorts.  and then again through my shirt.  the bites swelled up pretty bad, but when i ran to mommy whining and whimpering, she gave me antihistamines and benadryl gel, so it’s all good now.  except i don’t think i’ll be finishing my weeding job in fear of angering those stupid bugs.  because i totally wanted to spend another day wading in the shit patch.

ahh three more days until school!!  i’m getting pumped.  i have a feeling that the need to pack will come crushing down on my head soon though, and even then i won’t do anything about it.

anyway, the parents are up in vermont for an extended birthday/labor day/anniversary weekend.  before leaving though, drama went down with getting all of the kids’ shit together, since we’re all leaving monday, before they get back.  health insurance, license plates, credit cards, and a broken dryer have all joined the bees in making my weekend AWESOME.  oh yeah, john: our dryer upstairs broke, so the pse&g guy is coming on wednesday to hook up the downstairs one and take a look at the broken one.
