one class down, one exam to go.

i just emailed prof. anderson my final paper, so all i have to do is take the exam for my other course tonight, and then summer school will be over!  y’know, just in time to go home and realize that i missed my chance to go to LBI.  oh well.  i was just reading about that new proposal for a sleeker insulin pump, and it got me thinking.  i’m not in any position to be going after that sort of thing because making my pump smaller and less noticeable won’t really help me.  i have enough trouble as it is remembering that there is a machine attached to me and that i should be using it.  most pumpers probably would like something to make their lives easier and their diabetes a little more subtle, but i’m not one of them.  not yet, at least.  maybe by the time something as sleek as that insulin pump/thumb drive comes out, i’ll be ready for it.  animas and i get along just fine for now.
