weird

i know that this isn’t any different than other studies that have been done in search for a cure, but when kerri wrote about it i started crying just like she did.

it’s so strange to think about something that has forever been considered impossible as possible.  it turns your world upside down.  it defies the logic that you’ve been trying to come to grips with this whole time.  i almost don’t know what to do with it.

i’m crying because it’s so amazing, but i’m also crying because i’m afraid i’m getting my hopes up.  i’ve managed to kind of ignore other studies because they’ve always remained at those initial mice stages, and even though this one is still at that stage too, it seems different.  like the wall in front of me has all of a sudden become a door, and i can start thinking about walking through to the other side.
